About
Mr. Prakash V Kulkarni is a resident of Ballari, Karnataka. He is a subject expert in English Grammar and Geography with over 35 years of teaching experience. He hails from Shirahatti village of Gadag District in North Karnataka.
He has a host of post graduate degrees to his credit and has won 2 Gold medals and 1 State Award. He has been a popular tutor among the student community over the past 3 decades. Early in his career, he served as lecturer in Sakaleshpur, Raichur and Ballari. Since Jun 1989, he started his own ‘Kulkarni’s English Grammar Classes’ in Ballari which he still continues to run.
His unique teaching methods are easy to comprehend and his connect to students across age groups is exemplary. He has been invited for several teacher training programmes by Govt. of Karnataka and private educational institutions. He has also served as Educational Director for some reputed schools. Over the last 3 decades tens of thousands of students have been benefited from his sessions, both offline and online.
His age has not stopped him from updating himself technologically and he is well versed in using new age techniques to make learning fun. He is now embarking on a new journey to enable his knowledge to reach as many students as possible by launching his YouTube Channel ‘Prakash Kulkarni’s Lectures’. With this channel, he intends to connect to the rural youth as he firmly believes that lack of English Communication Skills should not hinder the growth of a new young India.
On the personal front, he is happily married to Mrs. Tungabhadra Kulkarni. He has been blessed with a son Mr. Sagar Kulkarni who is married to Mrs. Manasa Sagar. When not taking classes, he spends most of his time with his only grandson Mr. Samarth Kulkarni.
